The first annual Back In Action Push/Pull Powerlifting Meet was held on Saturday October 24, 2009. We had 16 lifters of which 13 lifters were new to the sport. The winners were Lightweight-James Tran, Middleweight-Shea Rolf, Heavyweight-Michael Devore, and Superheavy-Jon DeGuzman. All of our lifters did outstanding and we would like to thank IPFW Lifting Club for helping with sponsoring the event with their help and the making of the t-shirts.

We hope to make this an annual event that can form into a full powerlifting meet next year. It brought strength sports to Fort Wayne which is something that a lot of people are looking for around the area.

We will continue to keep this page updated for next years event. As Dr. O'Donnell and Jessica are both very involved with USA Powerlifting we hope to sanction the meet next year to bring more athletes to our organization that promotes "drug-free" lifting.
